The Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC) provides early care and education for students, faculty, staff and the community. In addition the ECEC serves as a laboratory school for the Early Childhood Education Programs at Clark State Community College and the Springfield-Clark Career Technology Center.
Children from 6 weeks to 13 years old.
Monday through Friday, year round (closed ten major holidays and two days for staff professional development).
M - F: 6:30 am. to 6:00 p.m. with the exception of Wednesday when closing is at 4:30 p.m. for staff meetings, trainings, and parent-teacher conferences.
Breakfast: 7:45 AM - 8:15 AM
Lunch: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Snack: 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM

The Early Childhood Education Centers provide a developmentally appropriate learning environment focused on growth of the whole child: cognitively, physically, emotionally and socially and spiritually…at their own rate. Degreed teachers work effectively with students, young children, and their parents.
The ECEC encourages:
